Sam was discharged from the hospital about 1:30pm today. We went to pick up Ethan and he ran to the car and literally crawled over me to get to his daddy :) I said why didn't you just go around to the other side of the car? LOL He was all over him the rest of the day. The hard part was telling him to be easy on daddy. His shoulder is still sore from getting the portacath in. They spent the afternoon playing "Lego Star Wars" on the Playstation while Nora and I took long overdue naps.
Sam has felt pretty good today. His complaint was he felt fat and bloated. I laughed and told him I felt that way all the time :) It is funny hearing him say that because he is so skinny. Though he has gained 15 pounds this week. His hands, knees and face are swollen but with all the IV fluids and chemo that was expected.
We've all felt a little displaced this week. . . . happy to have my family all under one roof again!
