Praising the Lord that Sam's white blood count was back up to 4.4 yesterday which is on the low end of normal! The lab almost didn't believe the results. The nurse said the fact he is young his body was just working overtime to get things back to normal. Amazing how perfectly our Creator designed our bodies to withstand so much!
Psalm 139:14 (NASB) I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are your works, And my soul knows it very well.
He was admitted to the hospital yesterday morning to get his heavy duty chemo this week. He is getting the platinum so special prayers for protection of his kidneys please. If all goes well he will get to come home on Friday. He can have visitors as long as they aren't sick or haven't been around someone who is sick. Also, the nurse told us to request NO flowers or live plants. Apparently both carry bacteria and chemo patients shouldn't have them in their room. Sam says snacks are always welcome! :)
The kids and I are back to crazy schedules this week and some displacement for them but we are managing. Thankful once again for friends and family who are helping me out!!
