I'm finding out what Moses said in this verse is so very true! The Bible is not just words but LIFE!
"They are not just idle words for you--they are your life. By them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess." ~Deuteronomy 32:47

Day 4 of Cycle 1

Sam is really starting to feel the side effects of the chemo. He's achy all over sort of like how you feel when you have the flu. He said he felt like his whole body was "pulsing." He had a rough night last night and was still asleep when I got to the hospital around 8am.

Nora is 15 months old today! She had a checkup/shots so I took her to the hospital to see "da" before her appointment. He was happy to see her and she was happy to see him.

Hoping the doctor will let Sam go home tomorrow evening. She said if he was good and promised to stay hydrated over the weekend he could. We are all ready for him to be home! Then for the next two weeks he will have outpatient chemo on Monday only. Then the cycle starts over. So he will be hospitalized 4 out of the 12 weeks of chemo.

Be in prayer that he tolerates today's and tomorrow's treatment/side effects well so he can come home. I really appreciate all the prayers. I really have felt them!

Psalm 61:2
2 From the end of the earth I will cry to You,
When my heart is overwhelmed;
Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
