I'm finding out what Moses said in this verse is so very true! The Bible is not just words but LIFE!
"They are not just idle words for you--they are your life. By them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess." ~Deuteronomy 32:47

Day 3

Sam just finished his 3rd day of chemo. He always feels a little drunk/groggy afterwards. He is doing pretty good so far. Of course he’s had the typical nausea and acid reflux. The nurses are doing a good job helping him keep that under control. He got his port in yesterday so his chest and shoulder is sore from that. He has his laptop with him so he’s passing the time by watching movies and walking the halls. Those who know Sam know he can’t sit still! Being “cooped up” in a hospital room the past two days has been hard.

The kids and I are trying to adjust. The mornings . . . to put it mildly. . . have been hectic! I’m so used to having Sam in the mornings to help me. We were late to school yesterday so I had to get the baby out of the car and walk Ethan in. This morning we barely made it in time to go through the car rider line. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll have it together better and not be in such a rush. SO THANKFUL for a friend who is picking Ethan up every day for me this week so I can work. I’m blessed to have her as a friend!

More scripture given to me:

Psalm 28:6-7
6 Praise be to the LORD,
for he has heard my cry for mercy.
7
The LORD is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.
My heart leaps for joy
and I will give thanks to him in song.

I’m cherishing all the scripture given to me by the body of Christ these past few weeks.
