Sam was discharged from the hospital about 1:30pm last Friday. This time they got his chemo started early so he got out early. Which was good because he was ready to GO! The chemo hit him pretty hard this time. He was very fatigued all week long and he had a pretty rough weekend with headaches. On the bright side his WBC was 3.9 (almost normal) yesterday when he did his outpatient treatment. So that was great news! He’ll have outpatient again next week and back to the hospital the week of March 5th. That week is the start of Cycle 4 which is his last cycle! FOUR more weeks!!
Our weekend was BUSY! We had our Women’s Fellowship Breakfast Saturday morning at church and it was AWESOME! My mom kept Nora and my sister took Ethan to a birthday party so Sam could rest while I was away. Then my niece’s birthday party was Saturday afternoon. We were pooped and in bed by 9pm which is unheard of for me and Sam! The kids and I went to church on Sunday but Sam wasn’t able to go. Our Embrace Women’s Ministry was highlighted on Sunday and everything went really well. I love my church family and my Diamond Hill ladies! We are blessed!
